Does CastleCMS have SEO features?
CastleCMS makes it easy to manage all of the Search Engine Optimization factors that are needed to increase your presence on prominent search engines, such as providing a sitemap, being mobile friendly, page speed, and user experience. In addition, its automated content quality checks provide users with inline content suggestions to help improve SEO ratings.
Are analytics available?
CastleCMS integrates with Google Analytics. Also, with the CastleCMS built-in social media platform integrations, our clients can see what people are sharing on social media and track what is shared most often. If you want to see how many visitors regularly access their site, what devices are most used, or which pages receive the most clicks, these analytics are readily available. With this information, clients can better improve their site and follow the data to see what is working and what is not.
Can I integrate third party applications?
Third party integrations with CastleCMS are possible depending on required plug-ins, APIs, or other factors. By default, CastleCMS integrates with major social media platforms such as Facebook and X.
Can I edit content directly on my site?
CastleCMS supports rich content editing with a state of the art editor called TinyMCE. This editor looks and feels like a word processor, giving you the ability to bold or italicize text, create bulleted lists, and change between body text and headings like we’re all used to with products like Microsoft Word or Google Docs. There’s no need to have any knowledge of HTML, but your content can also incorporate HTML if you so choose.
How do I add files to my CastleCMS site?
Clicking the add files button on the dashboard or the upload tab will bring you to the upload menu. Files can be dragged from their locations on your computer and dropped into the popup, or you can click “select files” to navigate to what you want to upload. If no folder destination is chosen, files will be uploaded to a central location on your CastleCMS site. You can also use the choose folder button to select exactly where your content will be uploaded.
How do I change the layout of my pages?
To begin editing your page layout, click the layout button in the upper level toolbar and select “change”. Each CastleCMS page is made up of tiles onto which you can place content like rich text, images, social media posts, and many others. Because of this, it’s easy to lay out a page the way you want without having to dive into CSS or HTML. In the same way that you can drag and drop the icons on your smartphone, you can drag and drop content tiles around on a CastleCMS site.
What types of tiles are available for my page layout?
Tiles can do quite a lot - They can play audio or video files, conduct surveys, display interactive calendars, show image galleries and slideshows, embed social media posts, and so much more. Inserting tiles makes working with several types of content on a single page much easier.
Can I send email notifications for users of my CastleCMS site?
A subscription form can be added to a site for the public to subscribe to receive email updates. The newsletter tile in CastleCMS allows clients to set up tags on a page and subscribe to the newsletter/tag for recurring emails on a particular subject, such as agendas and meeting minutes.
